Shakespeare is a young pit bull pup that was found as a stray. Immediately the staff at HSHA fell in love with his puppy antics and adorable smile. However, something wasn't quite right and it became clear that Shakespeare was suffering from on-going seizures. After a lot of testing and careful observation, the medical team determined that his issue was a severe case of epilepsy. At this time, Shakespeare is being treated and seeing improvements. However, as this young boy continues to grow, treatments will need to be adjusted to accommodate his age and weight. Although the epilepsy will need to be treated throughout Shakespeare's lifetime, he hasn’t let that damper his spirit and outgoing personality. He still acts like a typical puppy. Therefore, HSHA is looking for a foster family willing to care for, not only a young dog that needs socialization and manners training, but also one that is able to care for his on-going vet treatment. A treatment plan can be discussed with our foster coordinator. Of course, adoption is always a welcomed choice as well!
So, do you have space in your heart and home for this loveable boy? Contact Jennie today to see if you are right the right fit for Shakespeare by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
