Tippy came to the shelter as a stray. Upon arrival she positive for FIV and had a badly injured back leg. The staff at HSHA amputated the leg in order to save Tippy's life. These medical situations didn't stop her from being adopted. Sadly, she was once again returned, at no fault of her own but because her owners were moving and couldn't take Tippy along. At the time of her return she added an addition 5lbs. This has caused some joint health issues and therefore she will need to be kept on low caloric diet to help keep her weight down. Because of Tippy's various health concerns she will need to be seen regularly by a regular veterinarian. Come meet this lovable gal and help her find her FURever home!
We are currently in need of paper towels, non-clumping kitty litter, non-scented clorox bleach, sturdy dog toys, dry kitten chow food and cat toys. If you'd like to help out, please drop some off at the shelter!
