Rosie, a five year old female pit bull mix, was brought into the shelter as a stray from Swatara Township. This sweetheart was determined to make a new, happy, and playful life. Due to her loveable personality and friendly demeanor she was a perfect candidate for the coveted lobby housing with the adoption center staff. Rosie greeted each shelter guest with a pit bull smile and a wagging tale. However, on July 27 Rosie found a more permanent home when she got adopted!! As a staff favorite, we are overjoyed to see this awesome dog go to great home where she will be loved and cared for each and every day! Her days on the streets are a thing of the past.
We are currently in need of soft training treats (made in USA), Busy Bones, sensitive stomach cat food, peanut butter, unscented bleach, liquid laundry detergent, Dawn dishwashing detergent, Clorox wipes, waterless shampoo, kitten milk replacer, and paper towels. If you'd like to help out, please drop some off at the shelter!
