Cremation Services
The loss of a pet is heartbreaking. If you are in need of cremation services, the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area is here to help. We offer both communal and private cremation services for your beloved pet.
We offer two types of cremation services:
- Communal Cremation is when you choose not to have your pet’s ashes returned to you.
- Private Cremation is when your pet’s ashes are returned to you. This typically takes two weeks. Your pet’s ashes will be returned in a beautiful, wooden memorial box.

We are able to take deceased pets for cremation services Tuesday-Friday from 11am to 5:30pm and Saturday & Sunday from 11am to 4:30pm our Intake Center.
