This year our Holiday Adopt-a-Thon will be so big it will be…MEGA!  We are partnering with Brandywine Valley SPCA to bring you the largest pet adoption event in our area this holiday season.

$35 Adoption Fees For All Adoptable Pets

This includes spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccines!

 

 

Adoption Information

With a variety of adoptable animals available, attending the Mega Adoption Event is a wonderful way to find your perfect family member. The adoption process focuses on helping you find the right match for your family. Staff and volunteers will be on-site to help you with your selection, and you will take your pet home the same day you visit (pending approval). 

 

What to Bring:

You’ll just need to bring the few items listed below to complete an adoption.

  • Everyone living in the home
  • Vaccine records for any current pets in the home
  • If you currently rent, bring a copy of your current lease
  • Picture ID with current address listed
  • $35 adoption fee (credit card or cash accepted)
  • Leash & collar for a dog (also available for purchase)
  • Cat carriers for cat adoptions (limited amount available for purchase
  • If you are planning to adopt a dog and have other dog(s) in your home, you must bring the dog(s) with you so they can do a meet and greet to finalize the adoption. 

 

Additional Details:

  • We will NOT be accepting online applications during this time.  
  • All applications must be completed at the shelter during the 11am-5pm event hours. 
  • Applications are reviewed on a first come, first serve basis.
  • We will NOT be holding animals. 
  • You must be ready to take the pet home that day.
