Local Boy Scout To Perform Service Project At HSHA

Recently, the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area (HSHA) received a call from a young man inquiring about the possibility of performing a service project that would benefit our shelter. Service to others is an important aspect of the Scouting movement. Morgan has chosen to help us here at the shelter by constructing a shed on site that will provide additional much needed storage.

Veterinary Resource Center: Providing All “Starr” Care

June 3, 2020

A young Rottweiler named Starr, came through the VRC doors in very rough condition. Starr had a severe flea infestation. She was weak and could barely move and wasn’t eating. Upon examination, it was determined she was suffering from flea-bite anemia or critically low red cell count. Read how the VRC helped bring back Starr’s shine!

Two is Better Than One: Foster Kittens Clapton and Vaughan
