Needed: Critter Camp Counselor Volunteers
We’re excited to announce that we are looking for Critter Camp Counselor Volunteers (ages 15+) This is a fantastic opportunity for young animal lovers to make a real impact while gaining hands-on experience with both kids and animals. What you’ll do as a Critter Camp Counselor Volunteer:
- Assist teachers during a variety of fun and educational activities
- Ensure all campers have an amazing, safe, and interactive experience with our furry friends
- Serve as a positive role model for younger campers
- Help lead group activities and support our camp team
What we’re looking for:
- Enthusiastic volunteers who love working with children and animals
- Positive role models who can lead by example
- Volunteers willing to commit to either full day or half-day shifts
Shift Options:
- Morning Shift: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Critter Camp Dates:
- Monday, June 9 – Friday, June 13
- Monday, June 16 – Friday, June 20
- Monday, July 7 – Friday, July 11
- Monday, July 14 – Friday, July 18
- Monday, July 21 – Friday, July 25
- Monday, July 28 – Friday, August 1
- Monday, August 4 – Friday, August 8
- Monday, August 11 – Friday, August 15
- Monday, August 18 – Friday, August 22
About Critter Camp: Our summer camp program is led by a certified teacher and filled with about 25 campers each week ages 7-12 years old (split into ages 7-9 and 10-12). The camp features exciting guest speakers specializing in areas like animal art, therapy animals, K-9 police dogs, exotic animals, and more! Volunteers will get to experience all this while learning valuable skills for future endeavors. If you’re passionate about animals and kids, we want YOU to be part of our Critter Camp team! 🐶🦜
