Break out your tie-dye, bell bottoms, and flower crowns, and join us for a one-of-a-kind music festival located right at our shelter! The event features performances by local musicians, groovy activities for both humans and dogs, food, raffles, and lots of other fun.  Cost is pay by donation (with a suggested minimum donation of $10 per person)!

he Humane Society of Harrisburg Area (HSHA) believes that true Valentine’s Day sweethearts have fur and more than two legs. That’s why community members are invited to find their true love during HSHA’s annual Shelter Sweetheart Week. During the event, the adoption fees of some of our most lovable residents will be cut in half.  Our adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, microchip and basic vaccines!

Each February, HSHA conducts its Annual Glove Drive.  HSHA asks the community to donate gloves, make a monetary donation, or simply spread the word of the shelter’s need for surgical gloves.
